Day 6 Education rotation

We spent the day on an education rotation.  We worked a lot with the kindergarten class.

Elizabeth and Brianna got a little piano practice time

Muso

Lydia was having a great conversation with Mourthy, the Indian volunteer coordinator

Opening assembly

Lunch with Lydia and her buddy pal, Kyla the dance teacher

Brian ate next to Elumalai

Brianna's great with her fingers (and has made lots of friends)

Basketball with brothers Ashok (green) and Vijay.  You can't tell from the photo, but they have solved the problem of what to do when lots of people want to play basketball but there's only one hoop.  Just play two games at the same time and try not to run into each other.  It actually worked really well.
At dinner, Lydia grabbed the first plate, then Elizabeth gasped in surprise with what she found on the next plate--a flattened frog.  No one is sure how he got there, but we're certain he was a nice froggy.

  1. Ha, the frog made me laugh, so funny. The place you are eating looks pretty clean. when we were in Mexico doing our service project you wouldn't dare sit on the floors, but those floors look very clean. Is is a newish building?
