One of our favorite parts of each day is going over to the hostels (where the kids sleep) from 9:00 to 9:30 for "story time." In particular we've been drawn to the boys here. They're very well mannered, fun, happy, and kind. Apparently there aren't nearly as many men volunteers as women, so it's kind of fun for me (Brian) to connect with them. Last night I told them about climbing Mt. Logan, canoeing down the Snake River, cliff jumping, people BASE jumping off the Perrine Bridge, and about Yellowstone Park. They were glad to hear we didn't have crocodiles in our rivers (me too). They told me about King Cobras and said they killed one on the grounds once. They said one drop of venom would kill 30 men in 5 minutes. I haven't verified with wikipedia yet....

By the way, you'll notice we're sitting on their "beds" |
so fun! I can't believe that you are sitting on their beds! What a great bunch of good looking boys. Can you please adopt one for me while you are there?
ReplyDeleteThat is so fun Brian. They probably crave some attention from a dad figure. That really is so awesome that you guys went. That is crazy you are sitting on their beds. And to think I complain about mine, and think I need a new one. Ha
